Carolina Material Handling was hired by client Dalco Nonwovens, located in Conover, to assist them with finding solutions to their office space problems.
Carolina Material Handling provided Dalco with a high-quality, two-story in-plant office, made by Ebtech Industrial Building Solutions of Connellsville, Pennsylvania. The two-story modular solution enabled Dalco to have a bigger break room, two offices upstairs, a conference room, and a walkway down and outside. This modular structure added 1600 square feet of efficient office space to their location.

On April 15, 2012, Carolina Material Handling completed a lift table replacement project for the Bic Corporation Distribution Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. They replaced 10 shipping lanes whose equipment was inefficient and worn out from years of heavy use.
The pre-existing shipping lanes in the pallet-processing area of the distribution center were beginning to show signs of wear. Also, the lift tables raised and lowered, but did not pivot, meaning that employees had to reach across a space of about 45 inches to arrange boxes on the pallet.

Carolina Material Handling has recently completed the first phase of a three-phase project for a newly constructed facility in South Carolina that was needing heavy pallet rack storage.
Account manager Robby Reighley handles clients in the territory of Greensboro, Charlotte, and upstate South Carolina. He attributes a good pre-existing relationship with the client in their North Carolina divisions to having helped them to win the project.
The client presented Reighley with a layout of the facility and an AutoCAD rack layout with their exact specifications, including where the racks were to be located and beam level height.
